About Us

Hello!

My name is Lindsey Snyder and teaching is my passion.  I’ve been teaching for going on 10 years now and have loved every minute of it.

I currently have a double major in Early Childhood Education and Intercultural Studies from Trinity Lutheran College and am hoping to further my learning with a masters in education.  I have taught as a nanny, assistant teacher, lead teacher, site manager, tutor, children’s ministry director, and Godly Play Director.

My teaching style is process-over-product based and primarily Montessori with some Reggio Emelia.  I believe children learn best through play so I try to design all my lessons around play.  This makes learning not only fun but developmentally appropriate as well.  I believe every child deserves a teacher who not only encourages growth but meets them where they are at as well.

If you have any questions, contact me! I’m not currently taking on any new students until summer of 2022.

I offer several different options for locations.  I have an in-home work room for tutoring located in Everett, WA. I am also willing to drive to the students’ home to teach, though there will be an added cost for commute time.  I am also willing to do tutoring via zoom.   I am fully vaccinated and will do temperature checks with students and parents before coming into my home and I am more then happy to do temperature checks with myself before coming to a students home.

I will provide all work pages and games for each student.  They will need a pencil, notebook, and crayons.

I always give a run down of everything done after each lesson as well as pictures.  This can be distributed via text or email, whichever is best for the parent/guardian.

Absolutely! I love being in contact with a students’ main teacher during the school year so that we can work together to help your student thrive.
